ACLU drops USA Patriot Act challenge
The ACLU has dropped its court challenge to section 215 of the USA Patriot Act. The Washington Post reports that the reason for the withdrawal is the recent amendment that clarifies the right to seek legal counsel and challenge a demand for personal records under that section.
