Incident: Glitch at Australian ISP exposes customer data

Astratel, an Australian internet service provider, has apparently been having problems with the "security locks" of its website. According to Austrialian IT, anybody can enter a customer's phone number and obtain access to that customer's account data, including calling logs. A customer went to the media after repeated attempts to contact the ISP were unacknowledged. See: Australian IT - Privacy breach at ISP (Andrew Colley, MARCH 31, 2006).
