BC to weaken USA PATRIOT Act amendments to FIPPA?

According to the Georgia Straight, the Campbell government of British Columbia may be poised to loosen the amendments that the government made to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act over USA Patriot Act concerns.
