Here's a good news story: Wal-Mart is rolling out a new device that make it easier for the visually impaired to enter their own PINs and other confidential information at the point of sale. Without device such as these, blind customers apparently have had to rely upon having someone do the data entry for them, raising the risk that the information will be overheard or even abused by the person who assists them.
