German courts require ISPs to delete IP logs on users' request

According to TorrentFreak, the highest appeal court in Germany has ruled that an ISP is required to delete IP logs in order to protect privacy. This is qualified by the fact that the deletion should be at the request of the individual (and TorrentFreak provides a link to a sample letter).
