Incident: Monster.com criticized for waiting five days to report data breach

Reuters is reporting that databases of Monster.com were broken into and the personal information of 1.3 Million users was compromised. Much of the focus is on a five day "delay" in making the matter public, though I think five days really isn't a long time to invetigate and figure out what to report.
