Internet ads under the privacy microscope

The latest developments in internet advertising are getting some pretty close scrutiny. And now, not to be outdone, Yahoo! is introducing a new search technology that relies more on the information that the company has collected about users. No surprise that the scheme is receiving a sceptical reception from privacy advocates. See: ABC News: Yahoo's New Ad Program Gets Personal.
