Former Chief Justice to review CMAJ governance

The Canadian Medical Association has retained former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, Antiono Lamer, to review and report on governance at the Canadian Medical Association Journal. The Journal has been embroiled in a small scandal following the Journal's publication of an investigative report that was critical of how pharmacists were requiring sensitive personal information before dispensing Plan B (aka the "morning after pill"). Since the CMA tried to spike the story, the editor and deputy editor have moved on from the Journal.
