U.S. Newswire - Food and CPG Industry Leaders Endorse Privacy Guidelines for New Technology: It appears that the EPC Network, the Grocery Manufactureres of America and the Food Marketing Institute have come up with some privacy-protecting guidelines for the adoption of RFID technology (referred to as the "Electronic Product Code" or EPC) in retail grocery stores.
