Newfoundland health authority employee fined for rummaging through records

Last Thursday, a judge of the Newfoundland Provincial Court fined a former employee of Western Health $5000 for rummaging through approximately 1000 records. The accused was found to have reviewed names and billing addresses, but not more sensitive health information.
