Employee fired after welfare client information found in a dumpster

The employee who was found to be at fault for mishandling information related to welfare-to-work clients of the Department of Education (see: The Canadian Privacy Law Blog: Files on welfare-to-work clients found in dumpster) has been fired, according to a local newspaper.
